NZ Herald News App Reviews

As an American who has visited NZ on multiple occasions I enjoyed this app to keep in touch. Unfortunately the most recent update has rendered the app slow and cumbersome to use. A big disappointment. I am frustrated with its poor performance and I am truly sorry to delete it because it feels like Im losing touch with the nation.

Ive tried. Lord knows, Ive tried but this is just a miserable failure, after battling poor design layout, bugs that last way too long and "reporting" that is so inane that they dont even put the reporters, or sources, name on a story I have had to give up. I am sending the app back. Dont waste your time on this "news" source.

Wow, as if the NZ Herald could not get worse...their app just set the bar for a new low in media apps...just AWFUL!

My review is not about the crappy add but about the crappy content. Still looking for a real news outlet in NZ.

Constantly crashes, videos wont play and having to click for more related to the topic you have chosen is a pain. The old version was bad but at least the videos played.

I have relatives who live in NZ and enjoy reading their current event news!!! ❤️

As a visitor of the country it was difficult to leave, but this keeps me connected to the inner workings and happenings.
